As I said many times to people in the past that science isn’t about “prove” or “disprove” anything in the world. The nature of science is to formulate theories based on observations and to construct mathematical models to determine whether or not the data we collected are supporting the theories. For example, science cannot ” prove”  evolution is the ultimate correct theory, but science can show strong support of the theory based on evidence and we quickly see that evolution cannot be discarded. Likewise, science cannot ” disprove” the existence of God, but it can show that His existence isn’t needed to explain the origin of the universe and how it became the way it is today. So to a scientist, if it can show that God’s existence is not required as part of the universe, it is just as good as saying God does not exist. However, it isn’t an act of a “disprove”.
